Costa Rica is an utterly attractive country from a tourist point of view, but the medical field has also become an attraction for visitors.

There are several medical and dental tourism companies out there that offer extremely advantageous packages for those who seek top treatment conditions and want to combine that with fine vacationing.

A great majority of Americans and Canadians prefer Costa Rica for the excellent prices in the dental medical field.

According to Euromonitor statistics, approximately 90% of the services in the cosmetic dentistry field of Costa Rica are being offered for foreign tourists.

The dental treatments here come on extremely low prices, while the quality of the services offered is at high standards. Certainly this is the most convenient factor for most that choose Costa Rica as a medical and vacationing spot.

The National Association of Dental Plans has released some statistics according to which, around 46% of the American adults do not have proper dental insurance. The rest of the population who has insurance actually struggles with very low levels of coverage. All these of course contribute to the fact that more and more people are seeking advantageous dental tourism packages offered by different companies.

In Costa Rica you can get a wide array of dental services including veneers, dental implants, crowns and bridges and even up to the most complex dental surgical interventions. The facilities there are equipped with the latest technological tools and the dentists are highly skilled professionals that are able to offer the same high standard treatments that you would get at an office within the borders of the US.

For example, the dental implants are extremely expensive in the US, but if you choose to travel to such a destination as Costa Rica you might have to pay for the same exact procedure only 1/3 of the price. For the money you would spend in the US on one implant, you are able to get three in Costa Rica.

This is just an example, but there are certainly plenty other dental services that will cost you less than at home. Comparing the dental services prices for general treatments such as dental Xrays, fillings, extractions, plus considering the dentist fees, in Costa Rica the prices are 50% to 70% lower.

Besides offering top notch medical services, Costa Rica is an idyllic country for vacationing, and plenty of Americans choose it as their favorite spot for retirement purposes.

Clasificación de los traumatismos

Abril 6th, 2011 by Leonardo Taborda

Read the rest of this entry »

La higiene oral

Enero 20th, 2011 by Leonardo Taborda

BLANQUEAMIENTO DENTAL

Enero 13th, 2011 by Leonardo Taborda
